Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council (GHRAC) Resources

"The Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council (GHRAC) administers grant programs with governmental and non-profit organizations throughout Georgia. These grants further the GHRAC mission of protecting and making accessible Georgia's documentary heritage. The grants are made possible by annual and supplemental State appropriations, and grants from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC)." - Information from the Georgia Archives Web site.

Another great resource from GHRAC is the Preferred Practices for Historical Repositories: A Resource Manual and Self-Assessment Guide, compiled by Anne P. Smith and Jill Swiecichowski, April 1999 and updated by Beth Patkus, August 2010.
