I like working with people new to the field of archives. I enjoy sharing information. I would like to be of help to those just starting out. If I have knowledge or skills that may prove useful to someone, I want to share.
My first job is this one as the Archivist for Clayton State University. I have been here almost eight years. I won the GHRAB Award for Archival Program Development in October 2005. I had prepared all the policies and procedures for CSU Archives as well as developed an internship program. I won the GHRAB Award for Local History Advocacy in 2010 for working with an intern to create a museum for the history of education in Henry County. My strong suit is working with interns and volunteers. I am also very experienced in working in a small archives with no or very little budget.
