Do you have an urge to explore Historic Athens with a native guide?  Visit the famous house museums of the Classic City?  Indulge in a walking tour of the downtown area, or explore the nightlife in a pub-crawl?  These tours and several others are available by pre-registration with Classic City Tours.  Their address is:

In addition, there will be some self-guided tour options at registration, and free tours of the University of Georgia campus and/or a slide presentation on the Historic Campus given by Dr. Nash Boney, Emeritus Professor of History and unofficial University Historian.  If you have an interest in either of these two tour possibilities, please contact Gilbert Head (706-542-8151) and let him know of your interest by September 30, 2000.
